Before starting Prepare The Way Roofing, our founder worked in the roofing industry in Florida and later as an insurance adjuster. Those experiences provided a unique perspective from both sides of the roofing and insurance process—and also revealed some of the problems within the industry.
Too often, homeowners are caught in the middle. We saw firsthand the dishonesty, shortcuts, pressure, and lack of integrity that can sometimes exist in the roofing industry.
We knew there had to be a better way.
The story of Prepare The Way Roofing is about more than starting a business.
It’s a story of faith and obedience.
We believe Jesus called our family to leave Florida, move to the Raleigh area, and start this company. We stepped out in faith, believing that God wasn’t simply calling us here to build a roofing business—He was calling us to build relationships, grow in community, and serve people.
That calling is at the heart of the name Prepare The Way Roofing and continues to shape the way we operate today.
We don’t believe success is measured only by how many roofs we install. It’s measured by the way we treat people, the relationships we build, the quality of the work we leave behind, and whether we operate with integrity when no one is watching.
Having experience both in roofing and as an insurance adjuster has given us a perspective that many roofing companies don’t have.
We’ve seen what happens when homeowners aren’t given the whole story. We’ve seen unnecessary work recommended, damage misrepresented, corners cut, and people treated like another sale instead of a family that needs help.
